OTP: recommended, but the risk is yours

The OTP notice sits in the top banner of every inner page on BianKO's site, so it's a recommendation, not a requirement. Point 3 of the user agreement spells out the catch: if an account without OTP gets hit, the user carries the responsibility.

The site doesn't explain how to turn OTP on or which app it uses, and the sign-up form has no OTP field. The launch post of the older ODIN server in 2023 also recommended OTP (2FA) for account security.

Item lock password and secret question

Sign-up asks for an item lock password on top of your account password; it's required and can be up to 8 characters. The site doesn't say which in-game actions ask for it, so it makes sense to pick something different from your login password.

The secret question is required too, chosen from 6 options, with an answer of 2–50 characters:

  • A cartoon character
  • Your first computer game
  • A superhero
  • Your first teacher
  • Your mother's maiden name
  • Your first pet

The site doesn't say when the secret question is used, for example whether password recovery asks for it. For resets, the login page has a "Şifreni mi unuttun?" (forgot your password?) link.

Don't reuse another server's password

The sign-up form warns you plainly not to use an ID or password you've used on other servers. Usernames are 2–21 characters and passwords 2–13; email is required, phone is optional. As a general habit, keeping game and email passwords unique stops one leaked password from opening all your accounts.

Scams and account trading: what the agreement says

  • Point 2: stealing items or accounts through scams in game, or trying to, is banned.
  • Point 3: account details are not to be shared; sharing is at your own risk.
  • Point 6: trading GB, items, characters or KC for real money is strictly banned; accounts caught doing it are banned indefinitely.
  • Point 5: every third-party program is banned; only key-combo software built into hardware like mice and pedals is allowed.

Point 6 is a security issue too: buying a character for money breaks the rules, and once caught the accounts are banned indefinitely.

Phone number and SMS consent at sign-up

The phone field is optional (10–15 characters, example +905541231212). At the end of the form, the SMS notification consent and the "Kişisel verileriniz BianKO tarafından korunmaktadır" (your personal data is protected by BianKO) boxes are pre-ticked and required, and you accept the user agreement before registering.

FAQ

Is OTP mandatory on BianKO?
No. But if something goes wrong on an account without OTP, the agreement puts it on you.
What if I forget my item lock password?
The site doesn't list a separate reset for it. The reset link on the login page is for the account password.
Can I share my account with a friend?
The agreement asks you not to share account details. If you do, whatever happens is your responsibility.
Is it safe to buy a character on BianKO?
No, it's against the rules. Trading characters for real money gets the accounts involved banned indefinitely once caught.
